The Chauvin Arnoux CA5005 analogue multimeter includes a smart feature, the MN 89 DC clamp, which has been included in the design by Chauvin Arnoux to ensure maximum accuracy each time you use it. Because of this clamp, this analogue multimeter has a typical accuracy of 1.5%, as well as an impedance of 20kΩ/V.
The DC voltage measuring range of this multimeter is 100mV to 1000V (8 cal.), and it also has the ability to work with AC voltage as well, within a range of 10V to 1000V (5 cal.).
Several extra functions have been included in the CA5005 as a way of making your working life a little bit easier. It comes with automatic calibration, as well as a “voltest” light which can be used if the Ohmmeter in the device currently in use. It is also able to conduct an audible continuity test when R is less than 50Ω. This analogue multimeter also has a light fuse and a scale dB for AC voltages only.
For your complete peace of mind when using this product, it comes with an IEC 1010-1 600V CAT III safety rating, as well as its own plastic carrying case for extra protection.
